The Donut Shoppppp..........

Gracie was in her apartment when suddenly all the power went out. She decided to go for a walk because she didn't like being in the dark alone. As she was walking down the street a smell of deliciousness filled the air around her. Gracie followed the smell all the way over to the Donut Shop. It smelled so good she couldn't resist, she had to go inside and get a Donut, plus it was the only place with electricity. When Gracie got inside the place was packed with people. She saw a guy named Rio Sharpe that she had met once, or twice before. Once she made her way over to him she tried to make small talk by asking him what the cause of the power outage was, but he didn't seem to remember her so she walked away.

Memories..........

Gracie was walking down the street by Smart Pac. On her way past the liquor store she saw a drunk man beating a woman. Immediately it brought her back to the times when her own father would beat her mother whenever he was drunk. Gracie thought of all the times she woke up with flashlights shining in her eyes because the police had been called, and all the times she had begged her dad not to choke her mom, but she was too small to do anything. The man walked back inside, and left the woman lying on the ground crying with her face in her hands. Gracie walked over to her, and sat down beside her. Gracie turned to the woman, "Does he do that often?" she said. The woman quietly responded, "Almost everyday." Gracie then went on telling her the story about her mother being beat by her father, and explained to her that she can't stay with a man that abuses her because it will only get worse. She told the woman that the fastest way out is to just leave. After a while the woman got up and gave Gracie a big hug. They said their goodbyes, and the woman went straight home to pack up her things, as Gracie went back to her apartment, for she had done her good deed for the day!

To be continued.....

It was 11:00 am and Gracie was still sleeping. Gracie's cat decided to wake her up around noon so she could be fed. She fed her cat, then put on a pair of shorts, and a t-shirt and went jogging. She ran down moth street and on to elm street where Garret Lanes is. It wasn't as crowded as it usually is, but it was still getting some business, and she saw Oj smith go in. It was so humid outside, that when she got home, she hopped right in the shower and got all cleaned up. Later on that night Gracie went for a walk around the neighborhood. She took the usual route she takes when she goes jogging. When she walked by Garret Lanes again she saw two men outside dressed in all black. One of the men ran up to her and held a gun to her head. This is the moment she thought she would die.

Stop, drop, and roll......

Carnivals are supposed to be fun, and happy. Gracie Sinclaire soon realized good situations can turn into bad situations real fast! All she could see was smoke, and people running trying to get back so they could watch the fire, and see what was going on. All she could hear was people yelling, and the loud sound of fire trucks on their way. She finally snapped back into reality, and grasped the fact that there was a building on fire and she needed to get out of there before the crowd got more aggresive. She then spotted her friend, Drexel Young outside the gate of the carnival and decided to follow him out. When Gracie got home that night she was exhausted, and smelled like smoke, so she took a shower and headed off to bed for a good nights rest.

A Carnival To Remember......

"Hey, what are you doing later on tonight?" "Going to the carnival, wanna come?" Gracie overheard some girls talking about a carnival that she had seen advertise. "What do you think Princess?" she said to her cat, "Do you think I should go?" Her cat meowed. "I'll take that as a yes?" Later on that day Gracie headed over to the carnival. She ran into a nice guy by the name of J.J. Carlyle. They had a great time at the carnival and even took pictures in the photo booth, but only J.J.'s came out. Gracie woke up the next morning in her bed wondering what happened last night, and how she got home. She saw a thin strip of what looked like pictures lying by her pillow. She picked up the pictures hoping they would help remind her of what happened last night, but she only found pictures of herself holding a panda.

A Normal Day In Finch Pointe....

It was early on a September morning when the smallest amount of light from the overcast sky woke her up. “Damn light!!” Gracie rolled over and stumbled out of bed. “Good morning princess,” she says to the only other living thing in her apartment at Finch Pointe. Her cat rubs its smooth fur on her legs as if she was wanting something. “Food!! Of course! That’s what I forgot to pick up.” Gracie got dressed, and went to make a quick run to the Piggly Wiggly down the street to pick up some cat food. “Fucking traffic! Why the hell are their two 18 wheelers blocking the friggen traffic, at 8 in the friggen morning???”
